I'm sorry but the USB Flash Disk creator utility that is distributed with DRevitalize (UEFI) is formatting the USB drive as FAT32 to be as much compatible as possible with any UEFI system out there. In the past some manufacturers did not implement NTFS boot support in their UEFI modules.

Theoritically the standard Windows FAT32 format procedure should be able to format a flash drive of 32GB or less. I will mark this point as possible future update - find a way to format bigger than 32GB flash drives as FAT32.

I had tried a couple of 32GB SanDisk Ultra USB 3 flash drives and both failed on the last step. I just tried a 16GB SanDisk Ultra USB 3 flash drive and it showed an error that file protection couldn't be disabled on the drive even though I just formatted it. 

I'll see if I can get a smaller capacity SanDisk Cruzer Force to try, hopefully it's not due to the way SanDisk makes their flash drives.

There is absolutely no need to format the USB flash drive before selecting the option to create DRevitalize (UEFI).

When file protection can't be disabled on a drive it means that the drive is used and locked by another application. For example if DRevitalize (Windwos) runs and the flash drive is selected for testing it will be locked by DRevitalize (Windows) and the standalone utility to create UEFI boot USB flash drive won't be able to run. Please make sure no other utility (including DRevitalize) runs before creating the UEFI boot flash drive.

I noticed that the DRevitalize 4.00 UEFI DEMO has an ISO file to burn on CD.

Can the same be done for the full version? I would like to run from a CD.

(or can I use the demo iso, and then enter my serial number when running it)

You were spot on about the large capacity drive being the problem. I just got a 16GB SanDisk Cruzer Force and was able to load DRevitalize on it without issues. I've since found that one of my 32GB SanDisk Ultra 3.0 flash drives was bad, but that still doesn't explain why my other 32GB and 16GB drives of the same type didn't work. 

Here's my updated list of USB drives:

Compatible:

• SanDisk Cruzer Ultra 16GB
• PNY Mini M1 USB 2 16GB (no longer available)

Incompatible

• SanDisk Ultra USB 3 16/32

I though about doing that as well and using Rufus to load it onto a flash drive, but I haven't been able to find a way to do that.

Is it still possible in 4.01 to create an ISO and if so how can we do that?

I'm sorry but currently only bootable USB can be created automatically. The demo ISO file on the front page is just a direct copy of a bootable pen drive image with DRevitalize UEFI converted to an ISO image. This can be created with 4.01 licensed version as well by just copying the DRevitalize pen drive contents into an ISO file with third party utilities. There are some tutorials o the net on how to convert USB drive to ISO image but making a bootable ISO out of bootable USB is not an easy task. That's It will be available soon via DRevitalize.

Problems with creating UEFI boot DRevitalize pen drive and bootable ISO files will be fixed on next release. There will also be some more additions which I will post on the "Future Plans" page in June.

Right now, the only way to make an ISO is by copying a bootable USB with the licensed DRevitalize UEFI into an ISO image. Serial number is included when the USB image is created. It can't be entered on the demo version.
